Rainrall Tor year to date, .OOln. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32 inches. SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato-Thames Valley is as follows: General situation: An anticyclone is centred in the north Tasman Sea and covers New Zealand. Depressions are located near the Chatham Islands and over south-eastern Australia. Forecast: Light to moderate west to south-west winds. Weather fair to cloudy. Temperate warm in eastern districts, mild in western. Seas slight on tae i-ust Coast, slight to moderate on the West.
