Mean temperature, 66 deg. The barometer reads 30.10 and has very little movement. Fair to cloudy weather is indicated to-day and to-morrow, with westerly winds prevailing and temperatures higher. The Rainfall Rainfall for 24 hours ended 9 o’clock this morning', .OOin. Rainfall for previous 24 hours .OOln. Rainfall for January to date, .OOln. Average rainrall Tor January, 3.1 Sin. Rainrall Tor year to date, .OOln. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32 inches. SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato-Thames Valley is as follows: General situation: An anticyclone is centred in the north Tasman Sea and covers New Zealand. Depressions are located near the Chatham Islands and over south-eastern Australia. Forecast: Light to moderate west to south-west winds. Weather fair to cloudy. Temperate warm in eastern districts, mild in western. Seas slight on tae i-ust Coast, slight to moderate on the West.
