Mako, 6—o, 6 —l, 6—2, in the final of the Sugar Bowl tournament, in which all the leading American players competed. Mako and J. Tidball, who are suggested as the Davis Cup doubles pair, defeated Grant and Sabin, 6—B, 7—5, 6—4, in the doubles championship.
