Tel. Copyright.' LONDON, Dec. 30 It is announced that the Admiralty is aiming to extend the Fleet Air Arm’s present complement of 3000 officers and men to J. 0,000 by 1942, and is also planning to establish its own shore bases, including a special air dockyard for the repair and maintenance of all aeroplanes used by the Fleet.

The Daily Mail points out that the Fleet Air Arm will shortly be as big as the Royal Air Force was before the expansion scheme began.
