WAIKATO NURSES
MAGAZINE PUBLISHED ORIGINAL CONTRIBUTIONS Full of original verse and stories, the Waikato Hospital nurses’ magazine, the first to make its appearance, is a very creditable production. Abounding in anecdotes of hospital life, the magazine provides an insight into the arduous duties of a hospital nurse and the difficulties facing the probationer nurse. The magazine does not lack humour and several of the humorous verses and stories were contributed by patients, although the bulk of the literary work was produced by tbe nursing staff. A history of the hospital from its earliest days and ample illustrations also contribute to the success of the nurses' first annual magazine.
