SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTB PROGRESS IN NORTH ISLAND (By Telegraph—Pre.?s Association) PALMERSTON X., Thursday The annual conference of the North New Zealand area of the Seventh Da\ Adventist Church is being held here the delegates being encamped at th( showgrounds. In presenting the report. Mr R. F. G. Blair, the secretary, referring t r the progress bf the church in Hu North Island, said a total of 52 persons were actively engaged in fulltime service. The membership te 10it. there be : ng an average year!> increase of ?; in the last five years During the nine months ended September 30, 100 persons were accepter in membership, and the number hac considerably increased since then. There are 21 church buildings ii the area, and two church school buildings and many new buildings for expansion work had been contemplated The treasurer’s statement showed receipts for the nine months to be £11.179. an increase of £621. During the same period £6924 was contributed towards mission work. Tota credit balances of £9288 indicated the strong posit/. th- churc?;.
