OBITUARY
SIR JAMEB SEXTON MANY YEARS IN PARLIAMENT (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Dec. 28, 1 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 27 The death has occurred of Sir James Sexton, at the age of 82 years. Sir James entered Parliament as Labour M.P. for St. Helens in 1918, and held the scat until 1931. He was president of the Trades Union Congress in 1905, and a member of the Parliamentary Committee from 1900 to 1923. He had also been a member of the General Council of the Trade Union Congress since 1923.He had published several books and plays.
