BOYS’ LONG IMMERSION (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Wednesday After their boat overturned off Cheltenham Beach yesterday afternoon, two boys, Jack Chignel! and Trevor Titchener, of Devonport, were two hours clinging to the boat iri the Rangitoto Channel before being picked up. Mr H. M. Matthews, of Devonport, who was spending a holiday near the beacon on Rangitoto, heard calls for help from the channel, what appeared to be a canoe about half a mile off-shore, he launched a dinghy equipped with an outboard motor and went to Ibe boys' assistance. The boys were found clinging lo their overturned craft. They were suffering considerably from their long immersion., bu! tlm> *p**cdil> recovered when la Uni to Hm shore.
