SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato-Thames Valley is as follows: General situation: Most of the Dominion rertiains covered by an ant:-cyclone which has intensified still further, but a depression advancing across the south TasL i- b'-krmniiig ' the southern part or the South Island. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds with northerlies later predominating. Weather Tair to line with rising temperatures. Seas BH*.ht to moderate.
