The Hon. R. McCallum, M.L.C., of Blenheim, is visiting Hamilton.

Mr N. D. Weston, of Melbourne, is visiting Hamilton.

Mr G. J. M. Bacon, of Auckland, is visiting Hamilton.

Mr F. van Renen, of Auckland, is in Hamilton.

The Rev. Brother Remigius, director of the Hamilton Marist Brothers’ School, wffo recently underwent an operation at the Mater Miseracordlae Hospital, Auckland, is progressing favourably.

The Rev. Dr. A. G. Hall, director of the World Fellowship of Faith and Service, who has been visiting New Zealand, left Auckland by the Aorangi for Honolulu to-day.

Mr H. C. Hunter, accountant of the Palmerston North branch of the Bank of Australasia, has been promoted to lie manager of the Featherston branch. He will be succeeded at Palmerston North by Mr G. T. Smith, of the bank’s staff in Auckland.

Messrs W. Hanford, G. G. Hanford, F. A. Browne, L. J. Snell, D. Marshall (Auckland), R. Nichol, J. Hogg, D. Westbrooke, H. E. Duff-Daysh, J. Weston (Wellington), E. A. Pacey, l. K. Pacey (Hawera), and M. Ashworth (Gisborne) are at the Hamilton Hotel.
