CATHOLIC TENNIS AUCKLAND TEAM’S WIN AUCKLAND, Tuesday With the majority of rubbers in hand Auckland won the Watson Shield in the final of the competition controlled by the North Island Catholic Lawn Tennis Association, which was concluded on the Remuera courts today. Teams competed from Auckland, Wellington, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Waikato and Wanganui. For the remainder of the week New Zealand Catholic championship matches will be played.
