HAWKE CUP CRICKET
GAME AT NEW YEAR HOME TEAM SELECTED The Waikato cricket team to defend the Haw'ke Cup against Marlborough in Hamilton over the New Year holidays has been announced by the sole selector, Mr W. Everest. The team, which is the same as that \Thich successfully defended the trophy against Bay of Plenty early this month, is as follows:—R. Skeet (captain), A. J. Aitken, S. A. R. Badeley, R. Clough, A. Lissette, J. Everest, T. Lyon. E. Everest, M. Lyon, P. Bright and H. Going, with G. 5. Hampton 12th man.
