SHOW IN MINIATURE CALF CLUB COIWETTTIONB The school ehcrw and Calf Club competitions were held last week at the Orinl .School and an interesting day was spent. The layout of the exhibits represented a miniature winter and summer show combined. The children formed themselves into committees, stewards and officials. Great credit is due to the headmaster, Mr Smith, and Miss Cowie, and the children for the work. Mr W. T. Luxton, the well-known Jersey breeder. Judged the caJves and explained to the children why he selected certain calves. Mrs Seth Judged the home cookery, Mr Jenkins garden produce, Mr Seth poultry, and Mr Howell pet lambs.
