INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENT CITY AND COUNTRY TRAVELLERS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday A complete agreement was reached In the Dominion soft goods warehouse employees' industrial dispute, the hearing of which was concluded before the Conciliation Commissioner. .Mr M. j. Reardon, to-day. The adult male and female rates of pay have been increased by 5s a week. The hours of wark are. as in the previous award, but the workers' union stipulated that their acceptance was ■without prejudice, leaving them the right to ask for a 40-hour week in future awards. The minimum wage for eifv and country travellers was fixed at £5 12s 6d a week, but the latter are not bound by any other than the wages clauses in the award. Annual holidays have been increased by one week. The term of the award has been fixed at one year and it comes into force to-morrow.
