, TO BE WON AT ROYAL SHOW MAGNIFICENT SHOP DISPLAY £2400 is the total value of the magnificent trophies to be won at the Royal Show at Claudelands next week. Commanding a great deal of interest, the trophies for the stock classes are on exhibition in the main window of H. and J. Court, Limited, in Victoria Street, forming the finest
display of cups and shields ever seen in Hamilton. The most valuable of the collection is the large challenge shield of £2OO commanding pride of place. This trophy will be awarded to the exhibitor who gains the most points in the livestock section. There are many gold and silver cups valued at £SO and rich in design to be won in the various classes, while every championship carries a cup or medal. The opportunity afforded the pubiio of Hamilton to see such an outstanding collection is unique and it is expected that thousands of people will inspect it before the Waikato’s first
Royal Show opens next Thursday.
