TRAINING OFFICERS ABROAD CAPTAIN CLACIIAN FOR AUSTRALIA (By Teleeranh —Pre«<« \*«ortaTln-n WELLINGTON, Wednesday Under a policy of taking full advantage of facilities which are available for the higher education of the Dominion's regular army officers, Major D. H. W. H. Donaldson, of the New Zealand Staff. Corps, has been nominated to fill the next vacancy allotted to New Zealand at the Staff College, Camberley, England. The duration of t.iis course was recently reduced from two years to one. After completing a term at Camberley Major Donaldson will spend two years at a new college for higher training at Minley Manor, near Aldershot. Major Donaldson is at present Adjutant and Quartermaster-General of the j Northern District. He will leave for I England at, the end of the year. j Captain J. A. Clachan, New Zealand | Staff Corps area officer at Hamilton. ; will go to Duntroon, Australia, late j this year to relieve Captain loe .i , major) J. I. Brooke. New Zealand Staff J Corps. Captain Clachan will spend j three years abroad.
