BATTERED IN COLLISION DRIVER FAILED TO STOP (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday. The police are inquiring for a car which collided on the Hut t Road with another last Tuesday evening, tearing off a front tyre and crumpling the front and rear mudguard. The damaged vehicle was being driven by Mr George Henry, of Ropata Street, Lower llutt. It is stated that the other car must have been knocked about and bear evidence of the collision. The driver did not stop. The wanted car is described as an old model, green-coloured sedan.
