BURPRISE EVENING AT HONIKIWI A surprise birthday party was held j at the residence of Mr and Mrs J. H. J Graham. Honikiwi. recently to cele- J brate the eighteenth birthday of Miss Masie Graham, Card games and table tennis were enjoyed, while musical and vocal Items were given by a number of visitors, including Mr D. Williamson and Mr and Mrs H. Graham. Mr T. Graham played Scottish tunes on the bagpipes and Mr 11. Graham entertained with tricks and feats of sleight of hand. The beautiful birthday cake with its eighteen candles was cut by the guest of the e\**nin« after which, assisted by Mr L- Hooper, she unwrapped the large number of beautiful and useful presents
