BRISBANE, June 13 Anxiety was caused to-day for t!i • safety of an air liner which left Cairns at 6.10 a.m. for Townsville, but failed to arrive. There was one passenger, in addition to the pilot. A search by air was made this afternoon. Later, however, it was found that the machine had made a forced landing on a beach and the occupants were unharmed. No damage was done to the aeroplane.

Copyright NEW YORK, June 13 The wreckage of the air liner whi:h disappeared on March l while flying from San Francisco to Los' Angeles during the storm which caused the disastrous California flood, has been found on a mountainside in the Yosemite National Park. The machine was partially buried in the snow. The bodies of the nine persons were also found.

Copyright NAIROBI, June 12 Three British occupants of a WilsonAirway machine, chartered by the Tanganyika Government, were killed in a crash 50 miles from Singida. They were Mr C. F. M. Swynnerton, Director of Tsetse Research in Tanganyika Territory; Dr. 13. D. Burtt, a botanist; and Mr William Bawden, pilot. The wreckage was discovered by members of the Royal Air Force alter the aeroplane had been missing for three days.
