J .30 p.m.) PERTH, June 14 The State Arbitration Court has fixed an increased basic wage, operating from July 1, as follows: Metropolitan area—Males £4, a rise of 5s Id; females, £2 3s 2d, a rise of 2s 9d. Agricultural areas—Males £4 Is, a rise of 5s 2d; females, £2 3s 9d, a rise of 2s lOd. Goldfield areas—Males, £4 13s 3d, a rise of 6s 3d: females, £2 10s 4d, a rise of 3s id.
