WHATAWHATA COLLISION

MOTORISTS PROSECUTED FAILED TO KEEP TO LEFT Arising out of a collision on the Hamilton-Raglan Road, near Whatawhata, David Arthur McCracken, of Te Mata (Mr AY. P. Gray) and Joseph Marshall, a Maori, of Moerangi, were charged before Mr ?. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Hamilton, with failing to keep as close as practicable to the left-hand side of the road. The case for the police was conducted by Sergeant T. Kelly and evidence was given by Constable C. N. Crisp. Statements made by eacli accused were read by Constable Crisp, in these, each defendant claimed that he had been dazzled by the headlights of the other’s car.
