HEAVY LORRY CAPSIZES
OVER £2OO DAMAGE DONE (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Tuesday A six-wheeled heavy freight lorry owned by HJorths Transport, en route from Auckland to Cambridge, ran off the road and overturned down a steep bank on the Great South Road at Penrose bridge about 7.30 p.in. yesterday. It had a load of about six tons, including several radio sets, cases of beer, drums of benzine and hags of flour, to which damage estimated at fully £2OO was done. The vehicle crashed into the safety fence about 30 feet from the road and capsized. It was hauled back and after being reloaded was able to resume its run The driver escaped injury.
