LIFTED FROM BARGE
MERCER CAR ACCIDENT (Special to Times. 7 MERCER, Monday The car which ran off the Mercer wharf early yesterday morning and came to rest nose-down on a barge moored 10ft. out in the stream 'was recovered to-day by block and tackle, and when brought to the wharf was found to he in running order, despite the force of the impact. The principal damage appeared to be the shattered steering-wheel and windscreen. The barge was brought alongside the wharf and the car dragged up over (Continued in next column)
