OVERTAKING ON INTERSECTIONS “We wanted the public to know that we are not going to permit drivers to overtake other vehicles on intersections unless the speed is less than six miles an hour and both cars are proceeding straight ahead. Nicholson, of the Hamilton Borough Council, when Frederick Herbert Skfpworth, a laxidriver. of Hamilton, was charged before Mr S. L. Paterson, P.M., In the Magistrate's Court, Hamilton, to-day, with overtaking another vehicle on an Intersection. Defendant was convicted and fined £1 and costs. Mr Nicholson said Sliipworth was driving a taxi at about 35 miles per hour, past a car which was about to make a right-hand turn.
