The Government has agreed in principle to accept tho Sudeten German’s memorandum of June 8 as a basis for discussion. The Government has appealed for voluntary contributions toward defence and £2,000,000 has already been subscribed. A clash occurred between Czechs and Sudeten Germans at Warmdorf, which resulted in 4 7 Germans being arrested. One thousand others demonstrated and the release of those arrestrn was evenruarrv mvinrea.
