TWO MORE BURGLARIES SALEYARDS BOOTH ENTERED GOLF CLUBHOUSE RIFLED The series of burglaries in Hamilton collectively has resulted In the loss of several hundreds of pounds' worth of valuables the majority of which have been jewellery. An entry has been made into the luncheon room of the Frankton saleyards. from where a small sum of money and several packets of cigarettes have been stolen. The room is open on sale days only, when luncheons and light refreshments and cigarettes are available. A case containing several articles of jewellery and a- handbag containing money, the total value of which was about £SO, were stolen when an Intruder entered the home of Mr H. Yalder, of 81 River Road. Mr and Mrs Yalder were at dinner at the time and the thief entered a bedroom through a French window. Golf House Entered Thirty silver cups, an amount of cash from the green fee box and a number of silver teaspoons were removed from the clubhouse of the Bardowie Golf Club, at Cambridge, sometime during the week end when an Intruder smashed the lock to gain entry. It is estimated that the green fee box was wrenched from the wall and thrown outside after being emptied, contained about 245. The clubhouse was broken into last year also.
