CHUDLEIGH SOCIAL COMMITTEE (Special to Times.) WAITOA. Tuesday. The nrst annual meeting of the Churtlelgh Social Committee was held recently at Mr G. Reid’s residence, a Tull attendance or members being present. The chairman. Mr G. Reid, read the report and balance-sheet, which showed a good credit balance. lie congratulated the committee on the successful season It had experienced. Appreciation was expressed to Mr McGee for the loan of the ba-ii, also to Messrs T. Holmes and J. Hannah, musicians, and to Mr R. Montgomery, secretary, and to the ladles’ committee. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr G. Reid; secretary, Mr R. Montgomery; committee, Mess-s D. Wykes, J. Hannah. T. ITolme-s, E. Wldmer, Misses E. Reid, M. Kellett, 11. Widmer, and Mrs J. Colson.
