Copyright LONDON, April 4 It is reported in City circles that the purchase will be announced shortly of the Post Office beam radio stations by Cable and Wireless, Limited, for £2,500,000, says the Daily Mail. It is expected that the Government will pay Cable and Wireless, Limited, £500,00*0, in return for which in times of emergency they will maintain certain cable routes which, although of vital importance, are now- run at a loss. The Government will announce its scheme on April 8 in a White Paper, and It is expected simultaneous announcements will be made in all the Dominions.
