April 2 The main hangar at the Miami municipal airport and 14 aeroplanes were destroyed by fire after an explosion rom an unknown cause. The loss is estimated at 350,000 dollars. The machines destroyed included Seversky rac°r and others owned by James Mat tern and Gar Wood.
