AIR COMPANY ABSORBED
PROPOSALS APPROVED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) GISBORNE, Saturday Shareholders in the East Coast Airways, Limited, have approved of the proposals of the directors for the absorption of the company by Union Airways. A circular issued last month indicated the inability of the East Coast Company to finance further extensions, which are considered necessary, and disclosed that Union Airways, which already held a majority of the shares, was prepared to take over the shares at face vay.e. The change in control will not affect existing services or staffs.
