EDUCATION AMENDMENT CENTRALISATION OPPOSED (By Telegrapn.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday With only one or two exceptions, all | the secondary school boards of New Zealand were represented at the conference to-day to consider the Education Amendment Bill. It was criticised from various angles, but the main fault found was because it proposed centralisation in education administration and this was considered not to be advantageous to schools. The conference decided it would not pass judgment on the Bill as u body until after hearing the Minister of Education, the Hon. P. Fraser, this afternoon. i
