GAY GARDENS
AUTUMN GOLD Golden avenues of trees Swaying in an autumn breeze. Chestnuts 'brown with coats of green Through bare branches to be seen. Carpets thick of red and gold Autumn glories to behold. Chrysanthemums, bronze and white Red and orange bring delight. Ripened corn in golden sheaves Piled beside the fallen leaves. Bluest skies and warmest rain Lovely Autumn's here again.
