I. TE AWAMUTU VALUES The Farmers* Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report having held their usual stock sale at Te Awamutu yesterday, when a moderate yarding of sheep was penned. Competition for all classes was not keen, f store lambs In particular meeting a s weak inquiry. Ox beef was penned In - good numbers, with competition fair at u recent reduced rates. A medium entry of cow and heifer beef was not In keen demand, although heifers realised recent rates. Fat Jersey cows and boners were yarded in large numbers and sold well at firm rates. Potter bulls also realised ruling market values. A good entry of store steers & was dull of sale, while younger store s cattle sold at satisfactory prices. Competition for all classes was steady and values remained firm. There was an exceptionally heavy yarding of cattle, the beef entry comprising mostly medium fat cows, with only a small proptrtlon of finished cattle. Competition was firm for all classes and a total clearance resulted . at late quotations.
