Copyright u ' SYDNEY, March 31 The Marine Court of Inquiry into the sinking of the launch Rodney, with the loss of 19 lives, found that the 3 vessel capsized owing to the excessive » crowding of the upper deck causing 3 the launch to take a dangerous list, a which the master, Charles Henry Rosman, made no Berious effort to check, t The Court called upon Rosman to show a cause why his certificate should not - be cancelled or otherwise dealt with. Evidence disclosed that the Rodney at the time of the accident had 90 or more persons on the upper deck, which was 30 more than allowed by her licence. No blame was attached to the Maritime Services Board or its surveyor, but the Court recommended that greater precautions for public safetyshould be taken in the case of passenger vessels of the Rodney type.
