Friday The New Zealand Meat Producers* Beard is advised by cable from Its Lendon Office that the shipments from Australia, South America, and South Africa to the United Kingdom during the first half of March, 1938, were as follows: Australia: Carcases mutton, 45,050; carcases lamb, 129,444; quarters beef ( frozen), 6,214; quarters beef fchilled), 9,146. South America: Carcases mutton, 3,307; carcases lamb, 160,908; quarters beef frozen), 1,358; quarters beer t chilled), 223,347. South Africa including Southern Rhodesia) : Quarters beef (chilled), 1,741. New Zealand: Carcases mutton, 109.820; carcases lamb, 482.875; quarters beef 3,713; quarters beef (chilled), 18,683.
