Copyright 'Received Feb. 23, 2 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 22 The Advisory Cricket Committee has decided to recommend to the Marylebone Cricket Club that the eight-ball overs be tried in first-class matches in England in the 1939 season. It also recommended that there should b® no reduction in the number of flrst-ciass counties as suggested in the Cricket Commission's report. Lush in signing a contract, to play with Sir Julian Cahn's team for three years. Jackson, the New South Wales allrounder, was considered to have strong claims of selection lor the team for England.
