PROGREBS IN HAMILTON PERSONALITY IN ART After functioning for almost a year, the Waikato Camera Club has progressed rapidly and already considerable amateur talent in the art of photography is developing in the town. The president, Mr J. Burfoot, said at • a meeting last evening, that excellent work was being accomplished by many members. In a short talk on personality with reference to its development and expression in art, Mr Burfoot said people were always endeavouring to express themselves more freely in some form or another. Photography was a form of expression. The speaker outlined the fundamentals of art, namely, line, colour and curve, and dealt with their relation to photography. Examples of the work accomplished by the members were exhibited, many of the studies being excellent.
