EAST COAST SHEEP SALE AT MORRINSVILLE i (Special to Times) MORRINSVILLE, Friday. ; Although at times competition did, not appear to be as keen as last week,' the market was fully firm for breeding ' ewes at the weekly Morrinsville stock' sale to-day when over 15,000 sheep I from East Coast and North Auckland I districts were on offer. Lines of twotooth ewes were in keen request from 1 32s to 38s 3d. while mixed aced lines made from 25s to 29s 6d. Good five-year-olds made 29s i>d, while others made from 26s 6d to 27s Id. A line of four-tooth and four-year-old ewes was traded from 30s to 32s Id, while a consignment of four and five-year-olds met the market at 2is 6d. Store lambs were also traded readily, the best, making from 10s to 16s. Fat cattle were in good request, extra prime sorts making from £8 16s to £lO and medium pens from £6 to £7 12s. Light sorts cleared from £3 10s to £5 Jss. A small entry of fat sheep changed hands readily, light to medium prime wethers making from 13s 9d to 13? and light to medium ewes 15s f»d to 20s.
