The manipulations commenced wliru he found himself in need of money for domestic purposes. He took small amounts from the petty casli and typed one eorreet return for the head office and incorrect return for Hannevirko. Now that it ha j been discovered he toko it that the department would see there was no recurrence. The punishment was necessary not only for the individual but as a deterrent to others.
