Copyright SYDNEY, Feb. 17 The Police Department state* that tio official report has been made so far regarding the alleged clash between a South African and a Trinidad man. The unpleasantness, however, lias ended, the men concerned apologising and shaking hands. “I do not see what we can do about this and other incidents,” said Mr Dudley Hellmrich, director of publicity for the Empire Games. “They are foreign to me, as well as to thousands of other Australians. The conduct of the men from Trinidad and Ceylon has been exemplary and gentlemanly. My own opinion Is that no matter what Ideas men hold in their own countries, when they are in Home they should do as Rome does.”
