Record Port Trade. —Uncord lonn.'iav for inward and outward shipping’ was established at Auckland over the last I*2 months and at the annual meeting ••r the Auckland Harbour Board \esterday a surplus of £40,625 was disclosed on the year's working. The chairman. the Hon. T. Bloodworth. stated that taking the combined overseas and coastal returns, it was found that whereas in 1036 the trade of the whole of New Zealand had recovered to only 90.23 per of the 1929 llsure, Auckland had reached 100.58 per cent, and in 1937. when New Zealand had reached 98 4 per cent. Auckland's total was 108.09 per cent.
