WATERSIDE WRANGLE SEAMEN CLAIM PREFERENCE (By Telegraph.—Press Association) GISBORNE, Monday The Richardson Company's small vessel Mako has been idle since Saturday as the result of a dispute as to whether the members of the crew or the watersiders should handle the cargo. The seamen on the ship claimed preference of employment in working the cargo and the waterslders refused to supply supplementary labour, contending that such action would be jcounter to the regulations. Reports irom Napier indicate that the Awahou is delayed there as the result of a similar dispute. ,
