HUNTLY BURGLARY

TOWN HALL ENTERED NO VALUABLES TAKEN (Special to Times.) HUNTLY, Monday The Huntly Town Tall was broken into early on Sunday morning, when an unsuccessful attempt was made to open the door of the operating box. Offices on the ground floor were ransacked, but only a torch was taken. The main door was securely locked after the pictures on Saturday night and at 7.30 a.m. on Sunday morning Ihe large glass doors at the main entrance were noticed to have been forced open. An iron bar was found lying inside the door. An investigation showed a state of disorder and holes in the plaster walls near the operating box. An axe, an iron and a glove were found in the hall.
