BOWLING TOURNEY
RESULTS AT TAURANGA REPRESENTATIVE GATHERING (By Telegraph.—Press Association) TAURANGA, Monday. The ninteenth annual bowling tournament of the Tauranga Bowling Club opened to-day in glorious weather, 27 teams competing. Prior to the opening, the president, Mr E. R. Sinclair, welcomed the visitors. Results:— Section One Round i.—Auckland (Woolley) 21 v. Matamata (Crabbe), 19; Carlton (Hill) 18 v. Te Kuiti (Dinsdale) 13; St. Hellers Russell) 22 v. Devonport .Melville) 17; Tauranga (Washer) 21 v. Tauranga (Moncur) 2C; Gisborne (Crowley) a bye. Section Two Carlton De Launay) 26 v. Gisborne (Williams) 9; West End Fraser-Smith; 17 v Papanui (Handley) 16; Frankton Wheeler) 20 v. Tauranga (Tamblyn IS; Pukekohe Summer) 27 v. Rotorua Fowkes) 18; Epsom (Hooper) a bye.
