PROVINCIAL POLO

FINALS POSTPONED TWO MATCHES ON MONDAY Heavy rain having made the field slippery, the Auckland Provincial Polo Association postponed the finals of the Auckland Provincial Cup and the Junior Cup, which were to have been played at the Claudelands show grounds today until Monday. The Junior Cup game will commence at noon on Monday and will be followed by the final of the Provincial Cup between Cambridge A and Glen Murray. The Glen Murray players arrived in Hamilton last night and have offered to remain with their ponies until Monday in order that the game would not have to be postponed indefinitely or abandoned.
