The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the Waikato* Thames Valley is as follows: Forecast: Moderate to strong northerly winds, later becoming more westerly. Weather cloudy, warm and humid, with rain at times. Seas rather rough to rough, but later decreasing. General inference: Condiions are still rather disturbed over the Tasrnan Sea and New Zealand areas. A series of westerly depressions continuing to pass.
