KITCHEN EVENING

FUNCTION AT MORRINSVILLE A large number was present when Miss Amrita Hill and Mr C. Large were tendered a kitchen evening in the Masonic Hall, Morrinsville, on Thursday evening by members of the Morrinsville Oddfellows' Lodge. On behalf of members Bro. iR. T. Scott, P.D.M.G.M, and Bro. W. J. Neels, P.D.M.G.M., spoke of their good work for the lodge and wished them prosperity in the future. A large number of gift parcels was opened. Air Large suitably replied and musical honours were accorded the guests of honour. Music for dancing was provided by the Lodge orchestra. Among those present were over thirty members of the Hamilton Oddfellows’ Lodge. Pianoforte solos were given by Miss L. Greaves, a dialogue by Mrs Gale and Miss L. Alazengarb, and humorous sketches by Messrs C. Skett, W. Johnston, W. Smith and G. McLeod.
