The Prime Minister. Mr Savage, announced to-day the appointment of Mr W. F. Stilwell. S.M., as a member and chairman of the Public Service Board of Appeal in suceession to Colonel .T. .1. Esson. who has retired from the position of chairman after 11 years’ The Prime Minister. Mr Savage, was acain able to leave his bed to-day. it will/probably be next week before he resumes bis official duties, -fates a Wellington message. Employment Frauds —Arthur Fredweeke' hard labour end Richard Hal! was fined £lO at Wellington to-day on charges of false statements for the purpose of obtaining benefit under the Employment Promotion Act.
