RECRUITING ACCELERATED FURTHER 20,000 NEEDED (Official Wireless) RUGBY, Feb. 8 The Secretary for War, Mr L. Hore-Belisha, told members of the House of Commons to-day that the number of recruits to flie ranks of the Army in Hie past three months had increased 32 per cent, on Hie figure for ilic corresponding: period of tlie previous year. More than 9000 recruits had joined the Army in the past three months, and Mr Jlore-Belisiia said about 20,000 more were required to bring the Army up to strength.
