OPPRESSIVE WEATHER

CONDITIONS IN HAMILTON COMPARISON OF TEMPERATURES SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS Extremely oppressive weather was experienced in Hamilton again to-day when the maximum temperature recorded was 92 degrees. The extreme heat was accentuated by the humid atmosphere and though higher temperatures have been registered this summer, yesterday was pronounced as the day this year. Rain clouds were gathered on the horizon practically throughout the day, but only scattered showers were experienced. The temperature recordings this month as compared with the corresponding dates last year are:—
