He has been hailed as a hero.

Pretending to ignore the shock, the matador held the crowd, which seemed to be gripped between terror and fascination. The band aided by playing loudly.

The bull was slain and the earth quake ceased simultaneously. Only a handful of spectators departed.

There have been approximately 200 tremors within a fortnight.
